Test prep can be expensive. Getting ready for your road test is no exception. Some people pay for driving lessons to get them ready which is a pretty costly option. Even after investing all that money, you still may not be getting adequate practice on the areas you’ll actually be driving during your DMV road test. There’s also a fee for every time you retake the test. So the fewer the number of times you take the test, the less you’ll be spending!
During your road test examiner will direct you around a pre-determined test route. We supply Drive Test routes so you can familiarize yourself with speed limits, traffic patterns, and intersections. During your Ontario Drive Test, you may encounter various maneuvers designed to assess your driving abilities. Some common maneuvers include:
Parallel Parking: Demonstrate your ability to park your vehicle parallel to the curb safely and accurately.
Three-Point Turn: Execute a three-point turn to change the direction of your vehicle in a narrow space.
Emergency Stop: React promptly to a simulated emergency situation by coming to a controlled stop while maintaining vehicle control and awareness of your surroundings.
Ontario's new driving laws focus on tougher penalties for dangerous/impaired driving, introducing lifetime bans for dangerous driving causing death, strengthening distracted driving rules (including smartwatches), changing licence rules for immigrants, and increasing fines/suspensions for impaired/novice drivers, with measures rolling out in 2025-2026 to enhance road safety.
